Our Story

The Foundation for Integral Development in Gender and Family – Genfami was created in 2009 on the initiative of a group of physical and mental health professionals, experts in gender-based violence, committed to the defense and promotion of the rights of populations with greater conditions of vulnerability and discrimination based on their gender and sex, especially girls, boys, adolescents, and women. In this way, and with the purpose of addressing and strengthening the prevention and response to this violence, Genfami progressively specialized in each of the key social actors in this problem. You can learn about our lines of action in what we do.
